Long touted as one of the best carries in the SEA region, Marc Polo Luis “Raven” Fausto has been in the DOTA 2 competitive scene for quite some time. A seasoned international star from the city of Antipolo in Philippines, Raven started out in Cyber Cafes as early as 11 years old – his vast experience so far has taught him the values of sacrifice and what it takes to succeed in Esports.
Together with Kuku, they have shared many memories together, knowing each other ever since they were still in school. The famous upset over OG was definitely one of the highlights of their partnership together. Together with Kuku, Xepher, and new Geeks Dubu and Ryoya, Raven is motivated to bring more accolades for Geek Fam.
Eric “Ryoya” Dong began getting known for his solo mid skills in the North American Dota scene as early as 2015. Previously under the guise ‘747’, has collected vast experience of playing competitive DOTA 2 at the highest level. Starting out his professional career with Boreal Esports and most recently Beast Coast, Ryoya is one of the top talents when it comes to the NA Professional DOTA 2 scene.
With Midlane being his most effective lane, he prefers heroes such as Storm Spirit, Queen of Pain, and Kunkka. Hailing from Massachusetts, USA, Ryoya has travelled halfway across the globe to play with Geek Fam. Bringing his North American flair to the Southeast Asia scene, Ryoya definitely is looking forward to gel with the rest of the roster. The first step of many – in order to bring more competitive success for Geek Fam.
Carlo “Kuku” Palad is definitely no stranger to being in the spotlight of the DOTA 2 Esports scene. With multiple tournament wins to his belt, and making it to 4 consecutive TIs, Kuku has vast experience and is one of the most feared players in the region. Reunited with old friend Raven, and a fearsome roster, Kuku definitely aims to emulate further success for the Geeks all over the world.
If there is one person that knows how to thrive to hardship with grit, determination, and perseverance – then Kuku is one of the prime examples. Having built a passion for cybergames at an early age, Kuku has always made it his priority to advance his DOTA 2 career, all for the sake of those important to him.
Whenever Kuku is not playing DOTA 2, he enjoys spending time and going on holiday trips with his loved ones, especially his wife and daughter.
Hailing from Jakarta, Indonesia, Kenny “Xepher” Deo is one of the most achieving players from that region. His highest achievement was leading his team to success – winning the first minor of the 2018/2019 DPC – DreamLeague Season 10. Not only well known for his Rubick plays during his TNC Tiger days, he was also part of one of the most prominent teams in Indonesia, which are RRQ, being their leader. His unrelenting patience and calculated approach and passionate love to the game are valuable to any team, and he is happy to be part of the Geek Fam roster once again.
A true hometown hero of Jakarta, Xepher stands a chance to reach higher levels by being the first player from the country to qualify for The Internationals. Besides Dota2, his other loves in life are Sleeping and Indomie.
Kim “DuBu” Doo-Young hails from Incheon, South Korea and has vast experience in competitive DOTA 2, making it to 3 TIs (2019,2017,2016) with different teams. His experience is not only that as a player but as a Coach as well. Having experience in these different roles for his previous teams has helped Dubu look at DOTA 2 from different perspectives, thus improving his already in-depth knowledge of the game.
Coming from Korea, Dubu likes to offer K-Pop dance lessons to his teammates, in jest. Jokes aside, he’s one of the more serious figures of this new roster. During his spare time, Dubu enjoys listening to music, andspending quality time with his wife, being a major part of her Vlogs.
